Obtaining Membership to Windstorm Castle
At present Windstorm is ruled by Queen Edfeil and her Council Members Sir Kyle Draven and Lady Dream Loxley.
The time is mid 900AD, A medieval setting of ruling Kings and Queens, Lords and Ladies, Knights and Warriors. A time of Chivalry and Honour where Mages and clerics practice the art of simple hand spells or alchemy, and Healers tend the sick and injured from battle. Merchants visit with goods from afar, while Servants uphold the high standards offered to residents and guests alike. We ask that your feet remain firmly on the ground and that any Magic and Fantasy stay outside our walls.
All are welcome to observe any role playing within the room, and when you are comfortable, we ask that you make several meaningful visits in character to help you and us to decide if Windstorm is the place you would like to call home. By meaningful, we suggest proper interaction with others that will also enable your character to develop further.
We also ask that you read the web pages to get a real sense of where Windstorm is situated and how daily life is played out by the Lords, Ladies and Servants of our home.
Any believeable character will be accepted here within reason, including 'baddies' as not everybody enjoys playing a 'goodie' and thus it does make for a more interesting play! Just remember the consequences of stealing or worse if you are caught!
You can make your request via our message board, council will make a decision and inform you within 2 weeks. You may add Guest of Windstorm to your tags until a formal acceptance is given to you within the room. This will be a small key to your personal chambers within the Castle.
We have decided to change our One character/One member rule, but will remind you that any roleplaying relationships will need complete honesty by both players since in the past we have experienced problems that stem from duel roles in different rooms.
Above all else, role play is meant to be fun and enjoyable, so if for any reason you feel unable to continue with a certain character, we will be happy to discuss changes and/or the development of a new character. Anything is possible in the world of imagination.
