Windstorm Rules
Windstorm is ruled by a governing body of Queen and Council,
each with their own strengths and abilities. While in character our
Queen is a figurehead with the final decision in role play, the
Council as a whole is the final and definitive authority in all
matters. As a room we evolve and each of us works with our talents
and interests. While some spend more time in the room, others use
the board for their ongoing role plays and writing. We all make
mistakes and we all need each others forbearance. We hope all will
enjoy their time here, but we do have a few simple rules that are
stated below. Please read them and be welcome here.
The time is mid 900AD, A medieval setting of ruling Kings and
Queens, Lords and Ladies, Knights and Warriors. A time of Chivalry
and Honour where Mages and clerics practice the art of simple hand
spells or alchemy, and Healers tend the sick and injured from
battle. Merchants visit with goods from afar, while Servants uphold
the high standards offered to residents and guests alike. We ask
that your feet remain firmly on the ground and that any Magic and
Fantasy stay outside our walls. We will not acknowledge Demon or
Vamp powers, unless authorised and agreed we are a No Kill, No
Capture, No Attacking/Raiding room and we do not have Slaves.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to enter.
- The Sparring Arena or pit are also available if any feel the need for private duels (for honour or practice)...it keeps the mess out of the Main Rooms.
- Sexual Relations are best kept in private conversation but we welcome romance and actively encourage long courtships as enjoyed in Ye Olden Days.
- Members may role play any number of characters as we feel it enhances the room and storylines, but will remind you that any role playing relationships will need complete honesty by both players since in the past we have experienced problems that stem from duel roles in different rooms.
- Visitors are very welcome, please feel free to ask questions, as all here are more than happy to help and answer in any way we can.
- Please show respect at all times and remember we are all here to enjoy ourselves!
