The Rebel AllianceThe Alliance to Restore the Republic, also known as the Alliance to Restore Freedom to the Galaxy, the Rebel Alliance and, informally, as the Rebellion, was a loose alliance of planetary, system, and sector-level insurrectionist factions. The Jedi OrderDespite the fact that many of the most senior Jedi had been killed, many Jedi survived Order 66. Sidious, now the Emperor of the galaxy, used Darth Vader and the Inquisitorius to hunt down and kill the remaining Jedi. Some Jedi decided to fight the Empire, such as Roan Shryne and those at the Conclave on Kessel. Some hid, like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Grand Master Yoda. Many Jedi fell to Vader, Inquisitors, Emperor's Hands, and even bounty hunters who were bent on ending the Order's grip on the galaxy.
